For over five decades, ASIAN, Inc. has supported thousands of clients and socioeconomically disadvantaged communities at large by delivering core services in business assistance, business development, and supplier diversity and certifications, to promote equitable economic development.
Current and past programs include:
- Operation, at the behest of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency, MBDA Business Centers in San Francisco, San Jose, and Fresno, which have facilitated access to capital, access to contracts, and access to markets, for job creation and retention.
- Collaborated on State and Regional Job creation initiatives-GoBiz/ Sierra San Joaquin Jobs to develop a four county eco-system to build small businesses in the Central Valley of California.
- Co-administration of City College of San Francisco’s Small Business Recruitment and Compliance Program, which encourages small and local business participation in the College’s ongoing construction program.
- Fresno and San Jose centers produced the top performers – our clients were selected as MBDA Business of the Year in 2015, 2018 and 2020.
- Diverse business certification services.
