By attending a free 2-hour Homebuyer Program Orientation, you can learn about the homebuyer programs offered by the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD) and decide whether to proceed with the remaining first-time homebuyer education and certification courses. This orientation provides an overview of San Francisco’s affordable housing programs, including eligibility requirements, down payment assistance, application process, lottery priorities, and more!

Since August 1, 2019, all first-time homebuyers are required to attend a 2-hour online San Francisco Government Homebuyer Program Orientation before completing the 6-hour first-time homebuyer education and certification course.
Note: If you join the webinar more than 15 minutes after the start time, you are welcome to attend the training, but you will not receive credit and will need to attend again to meet the requirements of this training.
Every first-time homebuyer must complete the following three steps in order to obtain a certificate:

Step 2: 6-hour First-Time Homebuyer Education Workshop
