Who We Are

ASIAN, Inc. is a non-profit organization that strengthens Asian Americans and other socioeconomically disadvantaged communities. By assisting in their physical, economic and social development, we seek to overcome their systemic dependencies. We have been empowering communities to reject dependency as a permanent unalterable condition. We do so by mobilizing, partnering, and collaborating with the nonprofit, business, government, and philanthropic sectors to advance social and economic opportunity.

For over five decades, ASIAN, Inc. has championed the economic and housing empowerment of low- to moderate-income (LMI) Asian Americans and other underserved communities by leveraging public and private resources to support small businesses, affordable housing, and sustainable homeownership. Through a multicultural and multilingual approach, ASIAN, Inc. has delivered impactful results across Northern California.

Key Accomplishments:

Operates Business Centers in San Francisco, San Jose, and Fresno, assisting 10,000+ small and micro businesses and securing $1B+ in contracts and $900M+ in funding since 2007.
Helped incorporate 200+ community-based organizations and a community development credit union.
Developed over 1,000 affordable housing units, including 200 condos and 550+ rehabbed rentals.
Assisted 100+ homeowners with affordable rehab loans in diverse San Francisco neighborhoods.
Manages 300+ affordable units across San Francisco, including Chinatown and the Mission.
Delivered homeownership and foreclosure prevention services to 3,500+ clients across 20 counties since 2008.
Helped 500+ clients successfully purchase their first home in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1999.
